Little L

We took L into the doctor for just a well child check because he is a big 2 year old now. I told the doctor I was concerned about L's sleeping. He has not been sleeping through the night and when I rock him back to sleep he stops breathing (just a few seconds but feeling like forever). The doctor said he has sleep apnea and told us to take him to a ENT (ear, nose throat) doctor. We went yesterday and after 2 1/2 hour visit and a few tests they told us that L needs surgery. He needs to have his tonsils and adenoids out plus they are going to put tubes in his ears. We found out that L has never been able to breath right. He doesn't know what it is like to take a deep breath. Surgery will help him breath and will fix the sleep apnea. After surgery we will be in the hospital for a day or two so L can be looked after. T his is L's second surgery in his two years of life. I hope this is the last one! If you could pray for L that he may bounce back fast. Thanks!

Busy Busy

So with the move and the Holidays behind us, I feel like I finally have time to blog a little. We are moved in and are getting used to our surroundings. Princess will start school on the 4th. We waited until the holidays were over because it took so long to figure out buses. She has to be bused to a school across town because the school that is down the street from us is full. Hopefully they will figure it out soon. The boys are doing good and like our new house and backyard. Scot is doing good and work and is enjoying it. I am staying busy around the house and with the kids. We like it here and are having a good time. We still miss our friends back in Kansas and think about them often.

We had a great Christmas and enjoyed being together after almost two months apart. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I hope you have a great New Year!

We signed Princess up for a 1/4 mile fun run. She had so much fun and I had so much fun watching her.

What to do?

How do you celebrate a four year old's birthday?

A little bit of climbing

Some squirrel chasing

Cake decorating

So many things to do! Happy Birthday Crazy Man!

First Day of Kindergarten

Yes you read that right, Princess had her first day of school. I can't believe she is that old already. She got up at 6:30 got dressed put her back pack on and march into our room to tell us she was ready for school and to get up.

We had a special first day of school breakfast and took her to school.

I went into school and dropped her off. I turned around and was able to make it out into the hall way before the tears came. I was proud that I made it out of the room. We had a good first day and I am happy for my little Kindergartner!

Summer Trips

We have been so busy at our house this summer. We went to Nevada to visit Grandparents then came home for a little bit and found out that Scot had an interview in St. Louis. Scot's brother lives about two hours outside of St Louis so we went and visited them and had so much fun. Then we went to Maryland to visit some companies out there. We also interviewed with a company in California so hopefully we will find out soon if we have a job.

The tooth fairy has been to our house twice in one week. Princess lost her two bottom teeth. She was so nervous pulling them out so I helped her by singing a song and pulling it quick. She didn't know I pulled it out. That trick worked both times I think she is getting too smart for that trick to work next time.

This is what happens when a little boy who is still getting use to walking meets a sidewalk that has a slop.
