When we got back from Houston we tried to start old Betsy up. The problem was Betsy didn't start. We hooked her up to the van to jump it and it started then stopped and never started again. We talked to my brother-in-law who knows a lot about cars and he said it may not be worth fixing. As you can see Betsy has seen better days. It was a sad day when big Mike (junk yard guy) came and took Betsy away. There are so many memories in this car. This was our first car and all the kids were brought home from the hospital in this little car. In honor of Betsy I made I list of things I will miss about her:
1. The way she would shake when I hit 60 mph
2. The way it took her 1/2 hour to heat up in the winter
3. She had expensive taste and always want the newest parts
Last but not least Betsy loved the color red so much she had to have all shades even rusty red. Here's to you Betsy may you enjoy the junk yard forever!
