Finger paint is so much fun!!
Both kids are sick with a cold so we haven't been out too much lately. On Friday we stayed inside all day. Poor Princess wants to play outside SO bad but the weather has been bad. Every time the sun comes out she asks me if we can go swimming yet. She is a lover of summer just like me. To keep Princess from going stir crazy from being inside so much I decided we would doing something she has never done before. We did finger paint. I found a recipe online for finger paint that will not stain and is easy to clean up so I was sold. I made the finger paint and she had a great time. She paint three big pictures and was so proud of herself. We hung them up in the door way so Scot could see them when he got home. She kept telling me "Daddy is going to love this". SBT made a big deal about her art work when he got home and that just made her day. SBT has been so busy with school lately we haven't seen much of him. He took the CLP (Certified Landscape Professional) test on Saturday and is taking the other half in March. So he has been really busy studying for that and all his other school work poor guy. He got an email about a week ago from his professors asking him if he would re-design the Landscape for the Chicago Temple for our church. It is a great opportunity and big honor to be asked and he is really excited.

I have been exercising six days a week trying to get off the baby weight. I am feeling really good and have a lot of energy, which I need to keep up with Princess. She loves to exercise too. She loves doing yoga with me and loves to run everywhere she goes.
I was washing dishes today and Crazy man started to cry. I heard Princess say, "It's OK Crazy man I'll feed you in a minute." I thought that was so funny. We had Family Home Evening on Monday and talked about the Holy Ghost a little in our lesson. On Tuesday she was playing in the living room and put a blanket on her head and told Crazy man she was the Holy Ghost. I think we need to have another lesson on the Holy Ghost. I took Crazy man to the doctor on Tuesday and he is finally starting to move up in the chart with his weight. He is in the 25th percentile for weight and the 80th for height. Long and skinny sounds like a little SBT to me!! He is already rolling over tummy to back and back to tummy. The doctor thinks he will be a early crawler and walker. AHHHH two walkers I don't know if I am ready.

Talbert Family Blog
This is my first time blogging! I am excited to get this started. I guess I will start off by filling you in on my cute little family. Princess is finally potty trained. She tells me when she needs to go during the day and has not wet the bed at night!!! Crazy man is starting to roll over like crazy. I put in in one spot and walk away for a few minutes and he is a couple feet away. Princess told me today while we were driving in the car, "Mommy I love Crazy man." She is so protective of him it's so cute. SBT is so busy with school. This is his last semester at BYU than we are off to grad school. Another three years and we are done with school! He has a big test coming up the end of February called the CLP (Certified Landscape Professional) which only 2% of the Landscape Architects have. All it does is looks good on a resume and makes he more marketable. BYU is paying for it, which is so nice because it is a $200 test. I am having so much fun being a mom and keeping myself busy with little projects here and there.
