Surgery

So we met with a surgeon yesterday about a surgery Baby L has to get. He has a cyst right above his eye that has to be removed. The doctor was telling us that sometimes the cyst can attach itself it the brain which means a harder surgery but lucky for us Baby L's is not attached to his brain. It should be a pretty easy surgery and very few risks. We are going to plan the surgery for after Scot turns in his thesis project in April. I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared to death. I know there are very few risk and the doctor was very confident but I am still nervous. I know the Lord will take care of us and of Baby L and that's what brings me the most comfort.

Happy Birthday!

Monday was Baby L's 1st birthday! I can't believe it has been a year already. He is such a good baby. I love having him apart of the family! He is starting to show is cute little personality and he makes he laugh all the time. I love my baby so much and am excited to celebrate many more birthdays with him.

Me Time!

So I am not a morning person. I like sleeping in till 8am and staying in a nice warm bed. If little children wake up too early I try to get them to stay in bed with me. My goal this year was to make a change and be more of a morning person. I feel like if I get up early before others I can get some things done just for me. This week I started waking up at 5:45am and started running with a good friend of mine. We run till 6:30-7:00 and when I go home a have a little time to do what I need to before children wake up. This week has been great! I love being able to start off my day by doing something good for myself. I feel better and my children seem to be happier (maybe because I am) and we just have a all round good day! I can proudly say I love mornings and I and making myself be a morning person. You should try it too!
